Light up a Life! is held in December of each year to raise needed funding for the Technology Access Center and The Arc of Tennessee.
The Technology Access Center mission is to promote the independence and participation of individuals of all ages with disabilities in school, work, play, and other everyday activities through the use of assistive technology.
For over 50 years The Arc of Tennessee has advocated for choices that lead to improved quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Light up a Life! begins with a kick-off event during which sponsors are recognized, and candles are lit in the windows of Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation building on West End Avenue in Nashville, TN for the month of December.
